2015 World Gymnaestrada

It's almost here! Organizers of the 2015 World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki excitedly marked 100 days to go Thursday in the Finnish capital by revealing the event's mascots and opening an Instagram account.

Held once a quadrennial, the World Gymnaestrada is an event literally years in making, both for performing groups as well as organisers. The 2015 edition, being held for the first time on Finnish soil July 12-18, is set to include 21,000 gymnasts for a week of Gymnastics revelry, demonstrations and group performances all over the city.
